Let's start with the basics: what are the documents needed to access this land?
First of all, the passport, with a deadline of not less than three months from the date of entry into the country. It is also recommended that you have documentation that is not deteriorated, as the local authorities are particularly strict in terms of controls.
Upon entry, a visa will be issued with a maximum validity of 90 days, after which it will be possible to renew it for a maximum of three more months, at Migracion Colombia. One of the discriminating elements for a future real estate investor, is the level of security.
For many years, in fact, this land has often been the subject of violence related to organized crime. Fortunately, however, in recent years, the situation has improved significantly, thanks to various peace agreements with the guerrillas of the FARC and the ELN, which have opened the possibility of visiting many regions for tourists, previously considered nerve centers.
Let us now move on to one of the points of greatest interest for you, future investors: the cost of living.
As we anticipated, living in Colombia is really advantageous, thanks to almost no taxation and natural resources in the territory.
