New York: a new amazing residential skyscraper
The highest residential building in the Western hemisphere is being built in New York
When you go to New York for the first time, you feel like you’re entering in an otherworldly dimension, especially if you live in a small village with low-rise buildings. Looking at the giant skyscrapers, you may suffer from stiff neck or from dizzy spells, but the modernity of this vibrant and multicultural city rouses a great pleasant astonishment.
All is new in New York! Old buildings are pulled down to give room to new most modern and higher constructions, making New York a city with one of the largest and most varied skyscraper collections in the world. Walking across the streets, you rediscover your childlike sense of wonder, as your attention is grabbed by huge led-lights screens put on the façades of the skyscrapers. You are overcome by the newness and by the kindness of New Yorkers who are always ready to help and give you information about the place you are looking for.
An architect cannot do without going to New York at least once in a lifetime. Manhattan hosts architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles: from Art Deco design – such as the Chrysler Building on Lexington Avenue, built in 1930, and the Empire State Building, on the 5th Avenue, built in 1931 – to the international-style Seagram Building and the green-design Condé Nast Building. The view offered by the towers top floors is amazing, which increases the value of apartments and lofts located on the highest storeys of the building.
New York is a vast building yard. New high-rise buildings are being constructed close to Ground Zero and will be higher than the Twin Towers. In the heart of Manhattan, between the 56th and the 57th Avenue, CIM Group and Macklowe Properties are building a super 96-storey skyscraper that, once completed, will be the highest residential skyscraper in the Western hemisphere: it will be 425 m high. It will have a dizzy height, of course, but also the prices of apartments will be skyrocketing: from 7 to 95 million dollars. The apartments will look like something out of the Thousand and One Nights as they will offer a lift with private access to the floor and separate access for the staff, precious facings, total immersion freestanding bathtubs, customized furniture and wine cellars with climate control systems, among the other incredible amenities. Monthly expenses will be comprised between 4 thousand dollars to 17 thousand dollars depending on the size of the apartment.
The sale campaign has already started, attracting the interest of buyers from the United States, South America, the Middle East, England, China and Russia; therefore, if you are interested in purchasing an outstanding property in New York, do not waste your time!
